​Hi, my name is Ana Gavia. My preferred pronouns are; She/Her/Hers. Born and raised in Omaha, Nebraska, but with deep and proud Mexican roots.

Currently working as the Branding, Marketing and Design Specialist for the College of Letters, Arts and Sciences Dean's Office at Metropolitan State University in Denver.

I graduated from the University of Nebraska at Omaha with a degree in Fine Arts, with a concentration in Graphic Design and two minors in Art History and Criminal Justice, yes you read that right, Criminal Justice!
​
I am currently in the process of earning my masters in Art Education with a Museum Emphasis. I have many passions, some that include; learning, history, art, traveling, creating and overall equality. I aspire to encourage the youth to follow their passions regardless of what career that is and regardless of where they come from and what their story is. It is never too late to start a new chapter.
